The Manor Art Price is given by the correspondent department store and consists of a solo exhibition as well as the production of an artist book. Roland was awarded this price in 2014. For the exhibition, Roland was building up a factory like production center in which six people worked during the entire show duration. In this factory small kid books were created with the content of Roland’s work – they function therefore as his first publication. Those books were delivered to the warehouse of the department store where they got the required barcodes. The books have been sold in 21 integrated stores of Manor throughout the exhibition duration of 13 weeks. This work was hosted by the Art Museum of Lucerne from june to september 2014.
